½ cup turmeric powder
1 cup filtered water ( plus ½ extra if necessary)
1.5 tsp ground black pepper
5 TBSP extra virgin olive oil
Mix one cup water with turmeric powder in a pan and slowly heat.
Stir for 6-10 minutes until a thick paste forms.
Add the additional ½ cup water if it’s too thick.
Add black pepper and oil.
Continue stirring until all the ingredients are well mixed.
Allow paste to cool.
Can be stored in the fridge in closed jar for 1-2 weeks.
Mix ¼ golden paste into a saucepan with 1 cup plant milk.
Add 1 tsp MCT/organic coconut oil.
Heat! Do not boil.
Once cool enough to drink, add a smidge of honey to taste if necessary.
